Sci-Lume Labs makes biobased, degradable, and recyclable nylons. Sci-Lume Labs solves the preferred nylons gap—there are only ~2% preferred nylons on the market. Our nylons have an estimated 50% reduction in GHG emissions compared to standard petrochemical nylons. We use the entire existing infrastructure from polymerization, to melt-spinning, knitting and weaving, dyeing and finishing which means no capex required for transitioning to our materials, and price parity with current petrochemical nylons.
