About
The Gotham Foundry is a new innovation center in New York City focused on developing sustainable, circular-economy materials like degradable bioplastics and textiles made from food products. The Hub will support early-stage, deep tech companies, research and development to create new sustainable materials for fashion and other industries such as  buildings, food, packaging and medical devices. The goal is to reduce industrial waste and pollution and make NYC a global leader in materials innovation. The panel discussion will include experts from leading academic and research institutions powered by the New York City Economic Development Corporation and will address how this material innovations hub will impact the fashion industry and catalyze a frictionless pathway from petri dish to runway and marketplace.
